1-masted danish yacht. ”Marstal-yacht”Scale 1:111.Traditional yacht built in Marstal, Denmark. This type of boats were famous under the nickname ”The working horse of the Baltic sea”. For almost 200 years they dominated the trade along the coast of the Baltic sea. Under sail the marstal yachts were used into the first decades of the 20th century and in motorised version the last ones were still in use in the 1960is. Their lines and rigging was an inspiration to the norwegian ”Hardanger-skutor”.Model data: Max length 38 cm, height 31 cm. Drawing - 2 sheet.
